Because craps is a high speed game including lots of action, generally featuring a crowd of hooting players gathered around the casino gamestable, making many people curious about the game. The games seems to be a bit complicated to learn but after knowing the rules one could be right in the heart of the action with others.

Some of the most common terms used is the come out roll where the action begins. It is the first roll for new game made by the shooter and also the first roll after the points been established. It determines the winning and loses of the shooter or continues the game.

The marker stats the stage of the game, if it is black and shows

off

then player has yet to make his point and if it is white, shows

on

and been placed on a number then it is the point which player has established.

The bet must be established before the first roll is made. The Pass Line bet is the one made by the player before the come out roll and pays even money 1:1. The player wins right off the bat if he rolls a 7 or 11 and he loses if he rolls a 2, 3, or 12. Other numbers (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10) simply establish the point allowing the game to continue. From there the player is trying to roll his point number again before rolling a 7. If the 7 comes up first the shooter loses and if he rolls his point before rolling a 7 he wins.
